Here's a few of the top books I finished last month. Happy reading!

Reinventing Jesus by J. Ed Komoszewski, M. James Sawyer, & Daniel B. Wallace

Belief in Jesus has been in decline in recent years. Correction, belief in the biblical Jesus has been in decline. Scholars and experts have been working to reinvent Jesus. The authors of this book work diligently to restore confidence in the true Jesus, answering questions about the reliability of the Gospels, the canonicity of Scripture, and the trustworthiness of the picture they paint of Jesus. If you want to strengthen your faith in God’s Word and the Gospel message, you’ll be helped by a book like this.

The Other Worldview: Exposing Christianity's Greatest Threat by Peter Jones

Christian author and pastor Peter Jones believes there are only two worldviews. There’s the Christian worldview, which teaches there is a transcendent, Trinitarian God who created the world and everything in it. And there’s the other worldview. That other worldview is what Peter Jones calls one-ism. The belief that there is only one kind of existence. The world is either self-creating or infinite. Everything is made up of the same stuff (matter, spirit, or some combination). Peter Jones is a helpful guide for understanding this worldview and the truth that sets Christianity apart from everybody else.

The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism by Tim Keller

Tim Keller has a unique gift. He presents the rationality of Christian faith winsomely. He anticipates the concerns and objections that the unbelieving seeker would ask. This book is a phenomenal resource to strengthen the believer’s faith and to address the unbeliever’s doubts.
